Jan Kasprzycki was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 1942.
When he was eighteen years old, he moved to California and enrolled at the Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles.
He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1964.
In 1976, he moved to Maui, Hawaii where he continues to live and work as an artist.
