Boris Muccia, American (1913 - 1999)

Boris Muccia was born on March 30, 1913, in New York City, New York.
He died on December 17, 1999 in Laguna Hills, California.

Boris Muccia was a first generation American. His parents, Vito Muccia and Caterina Pierri Muccia, were born in Italy.
Boris often travelled to Italy where he painted colorful landscapes.

Boris Muccia served as a Technical Sergeant in the US Army during WWII. His art was presented in the US Army 66th Infantry Division publication titled The Black Panther Magazine.

Boris Muccia studied at Chouinard Art Institute in Pasadena, CA.
After graduating he served as Art Director for the American Broadcasting Company. He also taught art at the YMCA.
