Nixon Galloway served in Naval Aviation during WWII. After the war he studied at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, CA. He was a member and a past president of the American Society of Aviation Artists.
Galloway
created a series of 43 paintings for United Airlines. He also worked as a freelance illustrator for several major companies including but not limited to NASA; American Airlines; Boeing; Continental Airlines; Hawaiian Airlines.
Galloway created a 60 paintings used for "Wings of Agriculture" calendars.
The art of Nixon Galloway is or has been exhibited in the White House, Washington, DC; Air Force Museum, Dayton, OH; Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, FL; The Pentagon, Arlington County, VA; Royal Air Force Museum, London, England; and the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, Washington, DC.
