Deirdre H. Heller was born on September 4, 1936, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She died on November 26, 2017, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Deirdre served as the music director for the Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls.
She moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she studied art application with local art instructors.
She became a successful artist with collectors around the world.
Deirdre and her husband Bob owned an art gallery and picture framing shop in Omaha.

The US Navy commissioned Deirdre to create a painting of the Omaha skyline.
The painting was exhibited in the offices of two Nebraska Congressmen.
