John Pike studied at the Cape Cod School of Art in Cape Cod, MA. He studied under Charles Hawthorne. His professional memberships included: American Watercolor Society; National Academy of Design; Philadelphia Watercolor Club; Salmagundi Club; Society of Illustrators; Southwest Watercolor Society; and the Woodstock Artist Association. He created paintings for magazine covers including: Colliers; Fortune; Life; Readers Digest; and True.
